Minoru… the Tom of Finland for Bears

Minoru Several years ago I was wandering through the vendor "maul" at International Bear Rendezvous when I stumbled upon Minoru sitting at a table surrounded by his erotic art and drooling men who were thumbing through prints. I was agog not only with the sexy, beefy, hairy men with giant god-like cocks, but was struck by the talent of this artist. It’s not often I see erotic art that really turns my crank, but Minoru knows how to do it.

I recently had the great pleasure of doing an interview with this talented man who shares my proclivity for mature men, daddies and bears. I’ve always been a fan of his work so it was quite a thrill when he expressed he’s also fan of HotOlderMale.com and Pantheon Productions.

Chris Roma: When did you start drawing daddies and bears?

Minoru: I started drawing them in 2002 when I was a student taking life drawing and oil painting classes at Glendale College.

Chris: I’ve always been curious what it’s like drawing a nude model. Can you tell me a bit about what that’s like for you?

Minoru: Many of the models I work with are not professional, so I feel comfortable making the model’s image in my original way. Also the men I draw must be my type of bear. Many people send me photos and ask me to draw them, but most of the time I refuse because they are not the type of man that turns me on. I must be excited in order to create art.

Chris: It really shows in your work that you have a real passion for the men that you work with. Are most of your works based on real men of do you dream up some of them?

Minoru: About 95% of the men I draw are real men and 5% are fantasy men that come from my head.

Chris: All of the men in your works certainly have a fantasy quality… their dicks are certainly larger than life. Are there any erotic artists that have had an influence on you? Image

Minoru: They aren’t any erotic artists that have greatly influenced my work, but I love the work of Michelangelo.

Chris: What is your favorite erotic work that you’ve created?

Minoru: My favorite piece is “Dick Rider”. I drew this from my imagination when I was a student in 2002.

Chris: That must have been a favorite in class. Can you describe what turns you on about mature men and bears?

Minoru: For me, a daddy should have a big heart and be mentally supportive to me… it’s a feeling I have inside. A bear should be wild and sexy and make me physically horny.

Chris: What Hollywood men are you most attracted to?

Minoru: I’m very attracted to Alec Baldwin, Anthony Hopkins and Ernest Hemingway.

Chris: Which porn stars are you most attracted to?

Minoru: Dan Rider, Michael Scott and Nate Pierce.

Chris: Those guys certainly turn me on too. We've had the good fortunate of having all of them get naked for our cameras. Is there anything else you want to add?

Minoru: I just want to say that I’d love to draw Michael Scott someday.

Chris: Well, maybe we could arrange a meeting. He’s quite a sexy and sweet man. I’m sure he’s love to be immortalized by you. Thanks again for taking the time to talk with me.

Minoru: Thank you Chris!
